| On March
19, 2006 to qualify for DDR, Sason of Matisan,
who is said to believe in non-violence now, and
Rudy who is said to be a leader of Lame Timanchet
allegedly "makes peace" with the Police.
Sason is on tape begging the Gran Ravin community
for "forgiveness" for past acts of violence
and crimes. (See Ezili Danto Witness Project -
Video Clips). This is before the Coup D'etat's
Lame Timanchet massacre, which may or may not
have involved Sason, where over 40 Gran Ravin
people were attacked in the dead of night (between
3, 4 to 5am) on July 7, 2006. Sason says he is
from Gran Ravin, Matisan. It has been publicly
reported that Lame Timanchèt are not from
Gran Ravin, Mantisan but from Tibwa and other
outlying areas. The Preval government has issued
warrants for 30 of the Lame Timanchet men who
committed the acts in Gran Ravin, Matisan. Our
most recent HLLN report indicates they've flown
the coop and are on the run. |
